This Privacy Policy explains how SunMaster USA collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit our websites, browse our lifehack knowledge base, subscribe to our updates, or otherwise interact with our services.

A) Information You Provide
Depending on how you use the Services, you may provide:

- Account information: Google account data (name, email, profile picture) when you sign in with Google
- Subscription preferences: topics, frequency, channel preferences (email and/or SMS)
- Lifehack interactions: lifehacks you like (vote for), lifehacks you bookmark/save to your profile
- Article interactions: articles you bookmark/save to your profile
- Article submissions: if you submit an article through our public submission form, you provide your name, email address, article title, category, article content, optional cover image, and optional short bio
- Communications: messages you send us (support requests, feedback, partnership inquiries)
- Job applications: resume, contact details, and related information submitted through our careers page
- Consent records: opt-in/opt-out status, time and date, consent language presented, and related logs
Sensitive information: We do not request medical or health information. Our lifehack content is provided for general informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional advice.
B) Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Services, we may automatically collect:
- Device and browser data: device type, operating system, browser type, language
- Usage data: pages viewed, lifehacks browsed, articles read, categories explored, search queries, links clicked, referral URLs, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps
- Interaction data: like/unlike events, bookmark actions, article submission events, search patterns
- Cookies and similar technologies: cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar tools (see Section 9)
C) Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from:
- Google: (when you sign in using Google OAuth) your public profile information (name, email, profile picture)
- Service providers: that help us operate the Services (hosting, analytics, security, email delivery, SMS delivery)
- Advertising and measurement partners: (if enabled), typically in the form of aggregated or pseudonymous reporting
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including our lifehack knowledge base, community rankings, search functionality, article publishing, and personalization features
- Deliver email and/or SMS updates you requested, including weekly top hacks roundups, new article notifications, community highlights, and partner deals
- Process and review article submissions for potential publication
- Manage your account, including bookmarked lifehacks, bookmarked articles, and like history
- Calculate and display community statistics using aggregated like counts
- Send transactional messages and partner offers where you have opted in
- Measure engagement and improve content relevance
- Detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Comply with legal obligations and maintain appropriate records
4. Email and SMS Communications
A) Email (CAN-SPAM)
If you opt in to email updates, we will send newsletters, weekly top hacks roundups, new community article alerts, and occasional promotional messages.
- Unsubscribe: every marketing email includes an unsubscribe mechanism. You can opt out at any time.
- We will process unsubscribe requests as required by law and maintain suppression lists to respect opt-outs.
B) SMS / Text Messages (TCPA/FCC compliance)
If you opt in to receive SMS/text messages, we will send brief updates and alerts. These messages may include:

C) SunMaster USA SMS Terms of Service (United States only)
SunMaster USA may provide lifehack tips, community highlights, smart living advice, seasonal recommendations, and occasional partner advertisements/offers via SMS text messaging.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting "STOP". After you send "STOP," we may send a confirmation message. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system. Consent is not a condition of the purchase of any goods or services. SMS is currently available in the United States.
5. How We Disclose Information
We do not sell your personal information for money.
A) Legal and Safety
We may disclose information to comply with law, lawful requests, subpoenas, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Services (including preventing fraud and abuse).
B) Advertising/Analytics Partners (if enabled)
If we use third-party analytics or advertising tools, those partners may collect or receive certain identifiers and event data through cookies/pixels/SDKs to help measure performance and improve relevance.
C) No Sale or Marketing Sharing of Contact Data
- No mobile information shared for marketing: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
- No email information shared for marketing: We do not share email addresses with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
- Opt-in and consent data is never shared: All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
- No third-party marketing lists: We do not use your email address or mobile number to build or sell third-party marketing lists.
D) Third-Party Disclosure (PII) and Confidentiality
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to unaffiliated third parties your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). This does not include website hosting partners and other technology service providers who assist us in operating our website, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
We may share your email address with a direct affiliated advertiser or partner only if you explicitly request that your information be shared. We do not share phone numbers or text messaging originator opt-in data with any third parties.
E) Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Non-personally identifiable visitor information (for example, aggregated or de-identified data about site usage, popular lifehack categories, trending hacks, community engagement trends, or search patterns) may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, analytics, measurement, or other uses.
6. Google Sign-In and Account Data
When you sign in with Google, we receive your public profile information (name, email address, profile picture) from Google. We use this information solely to:
- Create and manage your SunMaster USA account
- Display your name and avatar in the platform
- Associate your bookmarked lifehacks, bookmarked articles, and like history with your account
- Pre-fill forms where applicable (including the article submission form)
Note: We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, or any data beyond basic profile information. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings.
7. Lifehack Data, Article Submissions, and Community Content
Lifehack Knowledge Base
- Our lifehack content is curated and maintained by the SunMaster USA editorial team
- Like counts are aggregated community data — individual votes are stored in your account and are not publicly associated with your name
- Bookmarked lifehacks are private to your account and visible only to you
Article Submissions
- When you submit an article, you provide your name, email, article content, and optional cover image
- Your email address is used only to contact you about your submission status — it is NOT published on the site
- If your article is approved and published, your name will be displayed as the author
- Submitted content may be edited for clarity, accuracy, and formatting before publication
- By submitting, you grant SunMaster USA a non-exclusive license to publish, edit, and display your submitted content
- Unpublished submissions are retained for up to 90 days and then deleted
Community Statistics
- Aggregated, de-identified data (e.g., "12,000+ hacks shared," "Top 3 most liked this week") is displayed publicly
- Individual user data (your bookmarks, your likes) is never shared with other users
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:
- Delivering subscriptions and providing the Services
- Maintaining your account, bookmarks, and like history
- Maintaining consent and opt-out/suppression records
- Reviewing and processing article submissions
- Security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution
- Legal and compliance obligations
Account deletion: If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data, bookmarks, and like history within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Published articles will remain with author name displayed, but your account association will be removed.
10. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication through Google OAuth
- Access controls and logging
- Regular security assessments

11. U.S. Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
