Remove Deodorant Marks with Dryer Sheets

The Problem

White deodorant marks on dark shirts and dresses. You notice right before walking out the door.

The Hack

Take a dryer sheet (used or new) and rub it lightly over the white deodorant mark. The streak disappears.

Why It Works

The anti-static, slightly waxy coating on dryer sheets grabs and absorbs the deodorant residue from fabric.

Pro Tips

  • Keep a dryer sheet by your closet mirror for quick fixes
  • Works on dark and colored fabrics
  • Fresh or used sheets both work
  • Foam rubber or nylon also works in a pinch
