Use Incognito Mode for Cheaper Flights and Hotels

The Problem

You searched for a flight yesterday at $300. Today it's $350. The price went up because they know you're interested.

The Hack

Open an incognito/private window (Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome) before searching for flights or hotels. Compare prices with your normal browser.

Why It Works

Some travel sites use cookies to track your search history and raise prices for routes you've searched repeatedly. Incognito prevents this tracking.

Pro Tips

  • Ctrl+Shift+N in Chrome opens incognito
  • Also clear cookies or use a different browser for comparison
  • This doesn't guarantee lower prices but eliminates one variable
  • Also compare: Google Flights, Kayak, and booking direct
